"Enval's technology represents a real breakthrough in waste management and enables the continuing use of a well-established and hitherto irreplaceable packaging system for many everyday consumer products. The ongoing support and commitment of our investors, including both Cambridge Capital Group and Cambridge Angels, will allow Enval to continue its exploitation of this exciting opportunity."

About Enval

We are a modern environmental services company, focused on providing specialist solutions and addressing environmental and regulatory challenges across industrial, commercial and municipal sectors to deliver value from waste for our customers today. Natural resources are becoming scarcer and existing sources of fuels and minerals will not be sufficient to satisfy global needs for much longer. Enval can help; by implementing our process, 100% of the aluminium from plastic/aluminium laminate waste can be extracted and the plastic converted into useable oils and gases.

With waste volumes constantly increasing, and composition becoming more complex, there is a need for new technologies and processes to help recycle this new packaging. The Enval process can treat wastes which are difficult to recycle with conventional recycling processes.

Companies and municipalities around the world are legally responsible for waste management and protecting the environment. Enval is constantly innovating to save our customers time, energy, resources and money.

At Enval, we aim to meet every recycling requirement for our customers by providing a flexible approach to the technologies we have. Whether it is production waste or post consumer/post recycling process waste you have, we have the solution.

The company is a spin-out of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge. In parallel to the technical development and the development of the commercialisation strategies for its proprietary processes, Enval provides environmental technology consultancy, with particular emphasis in pyrolytic recycling of chemical feedstocks.
