GLAFCO: Managing Director speaks on foil packaging recycling

Enval’s Managing Director and CTO, Dr Carlos Ludlow-Palafox, spoke at the 3rd Global Foil Roller Conference, held in Dubai. The conference targeted the future of aluminium foil for both packaging and technical applications, and speakers were invited to cover areas including market information, sustainable concerns and foil end-of-life options.

Dr Ludlow-Palafox gave a talk on Aluminium Recovery for Laminated Foil Packaging, which was well received by the audience, who had previously been informed about other recycling and recovery options, by a spokesperson from Hydro Aluminium, and packaging sustainability from a brand owner – Unilever’s – perspective. The talk following Dr Ludlow’s, on the value in beverage carton recycling, by Tetra Pak, was also popular.
