Enval is pleased to announce that it has won the Green Award at the SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards, held last night, for Enval’s patented process to recycle plastic-aluminium laminates.

The Green Award, sponsored by Travel 4 Cambridgeshire, recognises a company fully committed to reducing or removing the harmful impact that products and/or services have on the environment. Enval’s technology for the recycling of a type of packaging material that to date has been non-recyclable, won its category thanks to its innovative nature and potential to tackle a real problem with real and tangible environmental benefits.SME Cambridgeshire Business Award Winner 2017

“We are very happy to have won this award,” said Dr. Carlos Ludlow-Palafox, Enval’s CEO. “Although our technology is for global use, to tackle a global problem, we are a Cambridge born company with a Cambridgeshire based operational plant and, given the very strong level of innovation and R&D in the environmental sector that exists in Cambridgeshire, the whole Enval team are extremely proud to have their efforts recognised”.

The SME Cambridgeshire awards are organised to support and raise the profile of  industrious, hardworking and enterprising SMEs in the county of Cambridgeshire. The event was a sold-out success with TV presenter Jules Breach, hosting and presenting the awards. Over 250 people came together to celebrate and reward the impressive work in all areas of business in Cambridgeshire.
